LEARNING EXPEDITION – HAMBURG
Süderelbe AG welcomes you to join the GALACTICA learning expedition in Hamburg: Smart technology and manufacturing in the civil aviation industry and cabin interior. Come and visit the world’s third largest civil aviation location.
Take part in an insightful 2 day journey discovering the latest technologies in the aviation industry in the metropolitan area of Hamburg – the world’s third largest civil aviation location. The program will help you to understand the aviation industry and how the implementation process and the future of the advanced and smart manufacturing looks like and get to know the needs of the aerospace sector in some areas.
The L.E. main focus is on visiting factories and a research center that have implemented smart technology into their production and research line. There will be enough time for networking throughout the journey and an inspiring cross-sectoral fertilization workshop with active participation of the attendees. The whole program will lead to know-how transfer between the different sectors and facilitate innovation mechanisms to create cross-sectoral collaboration for innovation.
The L.E. will most likely take you to the ZAL (Center of Applied Aeronautical Research), Synergeticon (AI solutions), Lufthansa Technik (Cabin Interior and VIP) and 2 more aerospace companies (subject to change, see Agenda below).

| 13.30 – 17.30 | Cross-sectoral fertilization Workshop @ZAL This innovation workshop organized by Innoshot will bring together the different sectors with the aim to reduce the silo-like sectoral boundaries. Target is to get-to-know the operations in other sectors, the innovation mechanisms and seeding of cross-sectoral collaboration for innovation |

| 10.30 – 12.00 | Visit of Fraunhofer IAPT, one of the leading institutions in the field of additive production with the core competencies AM design, AM processes and AM systems. The focus is on the industrialization of additive technologies and the associated technology transfer to enable completely new and resource-efficient products. |

| 13.30 – 17.00 | Visit Lufthansa Technik, leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft, from commercial to VIP and special mission aircraft. Visit of Cabin Interior, VIP and Smart Manufacturing. |

You can get 650€ if you are traveling from outside Germany or 500€ if you are within Germany (at least 300km away from Hamburg).
Travel vouchers are open to SMEs from EU27 or UK from textile, aerospace or advanced manufacturing sectors.
