Product certification and integration in aerospace:
Best practices, barriers and solutions for textiles in aircraft

About the session:

The product development and integration in aerospace underlie high certification requirements. Therefore, it is very important for new companies (SMEs) entering the aerospace market to think about the barriers and possible solutions. This webinar will focus on the creation of a successful new product or innovation in aircraft. Exploring the certification requirements, the participants will learn about the production according to EASA Part 21/G, the approval of design organization according to EASA Part 21/J and the necessary quality management system in the aerospace industry (EN9100). The speaker will explain the topics including best practices and examples of textiles (e.g. fire protection requirements) used in the cabin interior. The session will be closed with a Q&A session to clear up open questions.
